Garden Island Sheds is a small family owned business on Kauai, started in 2016 by Brian Dow (owner/operator). Brian grew up working in construction on Kauai, learning the trade from his father who is a General Contractor. For the past 20+ years, he has worked as a custom home builder and has been involved in many unique, challenging and creative projects. 

 

Why buy from Garden Island Sheds?

 

Everyone needs more storage space! Sure, you could get a plastic shed from a big box store that you have to assemble yourself. But those offer little protection or security and won’t last very long in our harsh Hawaii climate. You could also try to hire someone (who hopefully shows up) to spend several weeks in your backyard and build you a permanent, unmovable shed. Or there’s the storage unit method, which is the equivalent of throwing money away monthly. Meanwhile, your stuff is miles away.

 

Brian noticed the need for an affordable, quality storage unit that could be instantly set up and immediately utilized. Also with the option to be moved in the future, if needed. So after much thought, researching, and designing of both the sheds and delivery system, Brian decided to start his own company: Garden Island Sheds.

 

    

Our Method:

We create economical and high grade buildings that will last for decades. We buy all of our materials in bulk in order to keep our prices down, which we can then pass on to the customer.

Our materials are then stored dry, clean and out of the elements.

All of our building is done in an enclosed shop. This allows us to control the environment, while keeping everything dry, clean and unaffected by the weather. Doing our building this way allow us to do quality work that is quick and efficient, further allowing us to keep our prices down.

Finally, we have designed our standard sheds to make very efficient use of materials with very little waste, which again, helps keep our prices down for the customer.
